Dr. Nadia Alwasiah is a well-versed physiatrist and physician with a Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.

Work Experience

Dr Nadia has cared for adults and children with rehabilitation needs, patients after brain or spinal cord injuries or surgeries, children with physical challenges (childhood onset or congenital). Currently, she is the director of the Rehabilitation and physiotherapy department at American hospital in Dubai, UAE. Besides managing an inpatient rehabilitation unit, she also handles outpatient consultations for evaluation and treatment.

Her extensive expertise and experience stems from a rigorous residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Tufts Medical Center/Tufts Medical School in Boston.

Building upon this remarkable foundation, she has further honed her expertise through a prestigious fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Boston.
